| Downloading movies is a little different than browsing the web, but it is easy to learn how. The first step is to select who you are going to download your movies from. Select one of the top sites here. There are two types of movie download sites. A Peer to Server type and a non Peer to Server type, a non Peer to Server type site sells you a movie on a one at a time basis. Sometimes there is a monthly fee only; and sometimes there is a monthly fee and a download fee and then sometimes it’s a per download fee. It depends on the site. These are high quality movies that these on-line stores own the licensing for, they are selling you a license without the cost of the media. You are actually buying the movies from them. There are fewer non Peer to Server sites than there are Peer to Server sites, they include Vongo, Cinema now, and Movielink . The second type is a Peer to Server, Joe uploads his movies, and Bill then downloads it. They have many servers that store the same movie. You will download special software, this special software will download your movies from several different places at the same time, putting it back together on your computer, which is what allows the download to be so fast. You will pay a onetime fee that varies from site to site for different time periods, many of them are lifetime; and then you can download movies all you want. These are high quality movies also, here are some sample downloaded movies for you to watch. Non-Peer to Server types will also have you download special software, it works much the same as the Peer to Server software, its just different, it will still be very fast, even if you don't have a high speed internet connection. Once you download the software you will then have an area to go to search for movies to download, both types are similar in this aspect and both function much the same. Some of the Peer to Server networks have better searches than the Non-Peer to Server but both offer every kind of movie that you'd ever want covering all venues, even Adult movies. Some online movies are compressed into a ZIP or a TAR or a RAR file . If this is the case there are always instructions on where you can go for the free software to uncompress them. Once you’ve downloaded the movies and uncompressed them; you can watch them. What to do after you've downloaded your movies.Most movies will come as an AVI file. These are quick and easy, you can watch them right from your computer. You can also copy them to a CD or DVD but when you do this as an AVI file you don't get chapters, or any of the normal features we are used to on regular DVD movies. The best software I've found to convert any format movie to a DVD or CD is ConvertXtoDVD. With this software you can create a standard movie DVD with Chapters and other features quickly and easily. Subtitles are a little bit trickier; the best subtitle software I’ve found is Subtitle workshop. With this software you can edit the subtitles as needed. Some will download perfectly and will not require anything done to them, while others will need to be edited. Timing is the most typical thing that needs to be edited, add or subtract some time to the subtitle so it appears correctly. To download subtitle workshop click here. TAR or RAR files will sometime be the result of downloading a movie. When you get a movie in this format there are many files in your directory, all the same size and there will be many, with an increasing number for the file extension. The best software for extracting these files that I’ve found is WinRAR, this software is fast and easy , just right click on the lowest number and select extract here, your movie will be watchable in minutes. There are two different software’s that work great for ISO files, a BIN file is basically the same as an ISO file and these software’s will work on either. Power ISO is one, and Nero Ultimate is the other, click here to purchase Nero. Nero Ultimate is a major online movie making remaking software, there are many things that you can do with Nero, too many to go into here. These tips are intended to point you in the right direction, it can be very frustrating to download a movie and not know what to do with it.
